A WOMAN'S WAY

Most of our human and spiritual work is the same irrespective of gender. However, when it comes to our biological and evolutionary expressions, and the prisms of experience through a male of female system, different things are needed. And working with a coach or guide of the oppsite gender, and with the mirror being the polar opposite, has its own particular value.

THE CHALLENGE

Women and girls need men. Whether it's the father figure, male friends or romantic connections, men represent something that women don't have in themselves. And for straight women, men embody something that is felt as a physical need. And yet, at the same time, men often represent the opposite. Whether it comes from personal experience, judgment, rejection or some form of abuse; or if it's part of the collective wound and trauma that women carry from history and past generations, men also represent something dangerous, unsafe. Or just someone that never truly satisfies that inner need and longing. This is the dilemma, the conflict and the challenge (men carry their own version of this).

THE ESSENCE

At the same time, a woman longs for her own inner freedom - both the freedom to love unconditionally and in accordance with her own nature, and the freedom to be completely herself and express every part of her being. She has a wildness and an energy that is continuously pushing from the inside. And it can only be contained by active repression - first from the outside, and then internalised and practised on the inside. And at the same time, she develops clever and deeply intelligent ways of getting what she thinks she wants through attention, manipulation, emotional coercion and shifting her position between availability and being unavailable (which men find highly untrustworthy in response). Now, as a grown woman, taking full responsibility for this and cultivating all the dimensions that are calling for attention and liberation in the female system, is the invitation and the way.

THE RESPONSIBILITY

When she has experienced rejection and control from others, she will naturally blame others for her own lack of freedom. Countless generations of cultural female ideals that men have created to shield themselves from the female wildness that scares them out of their wits, has left an imprint of deep mistrust. And this has led to an inner belief that the rejection and constriction of female wildness must come from the outside and especially men. But the key, and the healing, comes from the inner responsibility for that repression. The orientation is that I am the source of my lack of freedom, love and true expression. And from there she can make the movement towards men from that place of both owning everything in herself and the longing for her true power and love.

SHOWING UP WITH A MAN

Men who have done the work and have reached stability and security in themselves, love the same in a woman. Nothing in her will truly destabilize him, and he can provide a safe ground to challenge that in her which is inauthentic and immature. From that place he invites her to come completely into her true expression and wild freedom, and to surrender herself to her own radiant love. Women are wanted and needed, and every single expression of the life energy that she is here to embody, needs to find its way to freedom. Having a man who believes in her, sees her gifts and are available to receive and mirror this in her can create tremendous growth and transformation.
